Shuffle is a House Dance show, this is a typographic response to house dance.
House Dance emerged in the late 20th century in New York and draws inspiration from tap, African and Latin dance styles. House Dance empahsises fluid movement and improvisation to connect with audiences. With this in mind I wanted to utilise typography in unconventional ways to express the individuality of house dance.
